Art & Design - Textiles - Visiting Lecturer

With over 20 years’ experience in Art & Design, fashion, textiles, and interiors, my passion for design continues to evolve.

After studying Printed Textiles at The Glasgow School of Art, where my love of art & design, colour, drawing, pattern, and textiles began. Following TexPrint and industry experience, I continued my training with an MA in Printed Textiles at The Royal College of Art.

In London, I worked with leading fashion brands, creating bestselling collections, leading design teams, and travelling globally to source vintage inspiration and emerging trends.

Returning to Scotland opened a new chapter in interiors, CMF, and product development. Working with heritage brands Sekers and Wemyss Fabrics expanded my expertise across weave, upholstery, drapery, and interior textiles. Previous roles include Design Manager at Sekers & Wemyss Fabrics, Surface & Product Designer at Premier Housewares, and Head of Design at JRC London. Clients have included Liberty, Marks & Spencer, Rockett St George, Urban Outfitters, ASOS, and Raft.

Alongside my commercial practice, I lecture across multidisciplinary design, including textiles, interiors, photography, visual communication, and social media, with teaching roles at West College Scotland, Edinburgh College of Art, London College of Communication, and Swansea School of Art.

Most recently, I founded Craft Club at West College Scotland—an inclusive lunchtime creative space—which led to the launch of Our Crafting Space, a new CIC focused on textile-based workshops, community projects, and wellbeing.

I’m currently working from my small studio just outside Glasgow, developing a range of creative projects. Drop me a message to discuss a project, collaboration, or catch up over coffee or online.
